CHITO-Zen®

Our new product CHITO-Zen® has Chitosan as its active ingredient. This ingredient is well known as a plant elicitor which triggers a plant defence mechanism and boosts the plants growth. This occurs by an activation of symbiotic signaling between plants and beneficial microorganisms. With this activation the plant draws more nutrients and can lead to an affect on plant yield. This addition of the ingredient to the plant and soil can help in sustainably managing root pests and diseases. It also can provide stress resistance to plants and improve the efficacy of other applied products.

Our new product CHITO-Zen® is available for sale and can be used during dormancy, pre flowering, fruit set to harvest and post-harvest.

For CHITO-Zen® we recommend 10 litres per hectare..

West Indies Trial

Although this trial was carried out using ARMOUR-Zen® at half strength, it clearly shows that Chitosan is indeed a plant elicitor. Hence the development of CHITO-Zen® as a Biostimulant.
